Meaning in all of this
Trying a Different Approach with StrengthInMen on TikTok
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with a different approach for StrengthInMen’s TikTok account.
In the past, most of my posts were motivational quotes—something short, powerful, and easy to consume. But I started to feel like that wasn’t enough. I wanted to go deeper. So I began posting more about my own journey—the daily hardships I face, the moments I break down, and the things I do to keep moving forward.
It felt like the right thing to do—more honest, more personal, more real.
But It's Been Quiet
So far, those posts haven’t gained much traction.
The likes and follows are low. The reach isn’t what I hoped for.
And I’ll be honest: it’s discouraging.
I’m not chasing fame. I’m trying to connect with other men who are struggling—just like I was (and still am). And when the message doesn’t seem to land, it starts to feel like maybe I’m missing the mark.
That’s the last thing I want. I don’t want to just post for the sake of posting. I want StrengthInMen to actually mean something to the men who come across it.
Finding Balance
Maybe the answer isn’t all or nothing.
Maybe I don’t have to choose between quote content and personal storytelling.
Maybe the right path is doing both.
Some men connect with short bursts of encouragement. Others need the raw honesty of someone going through it. Either way, I want this platform to be a place where men can find what they need—whether that’s motivation, hope, relatability, or simply knowing they’re not alone.
Looking Ahead
Eventually, I want to take this even further.
I want to start recording videos of me speaking directly to you—sharing parts of my story, lessons I’ve learned, and things I’m still figuring out.
I want feedback. I want to know what resonates. What helps. What you wish more men talked about. Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about me—it’s about us.
This platform will always be grounded in one thing: real strength through real connection.
If you’ve watched any of the content, liked a post, or even just read this far—thank you.
If you’ve ever felt unseen, unheard, or unsure of your next step—you’re not alone.
Let’s figure this out together.
